Pictures have surfaced on social media channels of some new project studio sized audio interfaces and a headphone amplifier by the Waves DiGiGrid partnership being unveiled during the setup of NAMM 2016
We don't have full details yet but from the pictures we can see one interface labelled at the "Musicians Interface"
Featuring:
High Quality Mic/Line Input
Hi-Z Guitar/Line Input
Headphone Output
Level Control & Meter
The second unit is labelled "Desktop Interface"
Featuring:
Two High Quality Mic/Line Inputs
Two Hi-Z Guitar Inputs/Line Inputs
Monitor Output With Level Control
Headphone Output
And third is a "High Output Headphone Amplifier"
Featuring:
High Output Headphone Amp
Four Inputs via the SoundGrid Network
AES/EBU, Analogue Line and Bluetooth.
This is very interesting and I'm sure a very welcome development for the platform, Being able to tap into the SoundGrid network with simple i/o options has been one missing item that was as yet unfulfilled.
